Gelli Plate Workshop | Botanische Druktechnieken

In this mixed media lesson we will apply different techniques with acrylic paint. We apply several layers of opaque and transparent acrylic paint and scratch and splash in it to see what the effect is. In short, a fun way to learn everything about acrylic paint!

Materials

The workshop is including materials . You work on paper measuring 35x25 cm and there are different colors of ink and acrylic paint to choose from.

Wear old clothes and please bring the following materials with you:

• Flat brush of 1 to 1.5 cm wide (a short handle is sufficient). If you know that you like to work precisely, take some smaller brushes with you.
• Apron
• Plastic for the table: a cut open garbage bag is sufficient
• Painter's tape (1 cm wide) to stick your paper
• Plate with cling film, which can serve as a pallet
• Water container/pot, e.g. a yogurt bucket
• Possibly your favorite colors of acrylic paint
